Old-School is dead, long live New-School!

Today we have spent all the climate budget we have for the entire year of 2015. Buying stuff, creating waste, driving fossil fuel cars and not thinking hard enough.

So, we've used planet Earth's and Mother Nature's resourses for 2015. Still we have to deal with September, October, November and December before the year ends. Get it? It's like when there is no more money at the end of the month? We're broke. We over spent, we over consumed, we under saved, we under estimated the odds. Old-school. Check out: #overshoot As the World Wildlife Fund spells it out: Global overshoot occurs when humanity’s annual demand for the goods and services that our land and seas can provide – fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, wood, cotton for clothing, and carbon dioxide absorption – exceeds what Earth’s ecosystems can renew in a year. Overshoot means we are drawing down the planet’s principal rather than living off its annual interest. This overshoot leads to a depletion of Earth’s life-supporting natural capital and a buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
