All countries in the world recently met again and had a meeting to wrap up the Millennium Development Goals from year 2000. This time the agenda focused more on the climate change. Here you go, scroll down and check our soso-pimped version.

THE 2015 TIME FOR
GLOBAL ACTION AGENDA

1. LESS HUNGER

Wipe out hunger and poverty once and for all. Yep, we're moving good, but still 1 out of 9 don't have enough food.

2. HEALTH

2. MORE EDUCATION

Education for all children. Should be as natural as breathing air. But we still have 58 million young world citizens out there who does not get any education whatsoever.

3. GENDER EQUALITY

Promote gender equality and empower women. In primary school we are getting there, but there are still too much discrimination of women around. We better step up...

4. KEEP KIDS ALIVE

Reduce the number of dying children.  Yes, we keep 17.000 more children alive EACH DAY compared to 1990. But, still 6.000.000 children EACH YEAR never see their 5th birthday.

5. KEEP MOTHERS ALIVE

Improve maternal health. We managed to reduce the death of mothers giving birth to their children by almost half compared to 1990. But still, only half the mothers in developing regions get any health care at all while being pregnant.

6. COMBAT DISEASES

Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases is not an easy thing but we are moving forward. Check out the figs in the image:

7. MORE CLEAN WATER

Make sure people have clean water. Not just have it... it need to get there in an sustainable manner. We have managed to provide clean drinking water for 2.300.000.000 people.

But we still need to help 2.500.000.000 people with water for hygiene... like for toilets.

8. MORE AID MONEY

Long version: A global partnership for development. The short version is: More money for the poor. We're talking countries, not individuals. The trick is to reduce the debts for the poor countries so they can use their money for development instead of paying back to rich countries. Progress is being made, but we have still a long way to go.

The money issue is pretty much delt with in the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. Check it out.
