The Danes made 140% wind energy

Yep, in beginning of July it was d*rn windy (with great waves on the west coast)... and their wind mill farms produced more electricity than the entire country needed! The Danes only need 100% of course... so, obviously there was plenty of extra around and yes, you guessed right, they simply sold it to Germany, Sweden and Norway.

This is amazingly good news... it means that we CAN create 100% renewable energy systems! Ok it was very windy, but anyway, ten years ago all politicians said it was impossible. Now we know one country did it... so what are the other 195 waiting for!

YOU STEP UP: Check where your electricity comes from, try to buy from suppliers that guarantee wind and/or solar...and give the fossil fuel guys your finger. Post questions on mobile phone producers facebook pages and ask when they will start selling solar powered obile phones. PHOTO: Chris Aldridge
